James Heffley

Played 4 years as a varsity starter at Albert Einstein High School in Kensington, Maryland with a .440 career batting average. Received 3 Montgomery County All-Division selections (2017-2019) and a Maryland All-State selection (2018) in high school all at the catching position. Montgomery County Senior All-Star selection with a .510 batting average (2019).

Played at the University of Maryland (2019-present) as a walk-on catcher. Was apart of two regional teams (2021-2022). Big 10 Champion in 2022 on a 44 win team ranked 10th in the nation. Redshirt sophomore catcher James Heffley was a Sportsmanship Award honoree for the school in 2022, which is awarded to players who according to the Big Ten “distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior.”

Coached with many programs and organizations throughout Montgomery County from elementary to high school levels. Enjoy working with new players and giving them exposure to high level of play.
